SELLING/POSTING ON OUR WEBSITE:

What does BikeExchange do? We are an online marketplace for all things bikes. Bike shops can post on our site to increase exposure to their shop and inventory.

PURCHASING:

What is the payment verification email I just received? This is our fraud check. Once you respond back to the email from BikeExchange with the credited amount, we will release the order to the shop.

SHIPPING:

How much of my bike will be assembled? Typically about 75%, and we always recommend using a qualified mechanic to complete the bike assembly.

When will I receive the tracking number for my item? Please be patient, COVID has caused a huge increase in the cycling industry and bike shops are working long hours to keep up with the increasing demands. You will typically receive an email with the tracking number from the bike shop within 7-10 business days.

Is this item shippable?On each ad you will find “In-store,” “Ships within the US” “private ad” or “Click-and-collect.”

In-Store: This means you can head down to the listed bike shop today and pick up this item. This is easily navigated by using our search icon at the top left of the screen. You also can input your location and driving distance you are willing to go for this item. To add even more filters in your search, on the left hand side of your screen, you will see the filter ‘availability’ where you can click what form of shipping you're looking for.

Ships within the US: This means the item is shippable anywhere in the US.

How much does it cost to ship an item? If the item is shippable, the shipping cost will be shown in checkout.
