A Century of Cycling Legacy
The roots of Berria trace back over a century, with a family lineage spanning three generations deeply intertwined with bicycles. The two brothers' grandfather, Miguel, harnessed the bicycle's power during the Spanish Civil War, transporting over 80 kilograms of olive oil across rural Spain, covering vast distances night after night.
A Passionate Inheritance
In the 1960s to the 1990s, the Vitoria brothers' father, inspired by his grandfather's feats, embraced cycling and became a regional racer. It was during this era that the name "Berria" originated - a moniker earned when he gained fame for relentlessly pursuing Barreiros trucks during his rigorous training sessions.
Continuing the Legacy
With such a profound family heritage, it was only natural for José and David to carry on the tradition, embodying the same spirit of hard work, dedication, and determination that has always defined their family.
Entering a New Era
Over a decade of perseverance, excellence, and innovation, Berria has achieved remarkable milestones, solidifying its place as an essential brand in the realm of high-performance bicycles. Today, the brand enters a new era, marked by even greater demands and a renewed commitment to pushing boundaries.
