Shipping & Delivery


All retail stores who sell products on BikeExchange are able to ship their goods throughout the lower 48 United States, or provide a click and collect service for pickup at their retail location. Shipping costs are calculated by the value of the order, size and weight of the product, and the shipping carrier used by the seller. Not all items are eligible to be shipped, and some may be required to be picked up at the seller's location. For customers in the lower 48 states, shipping costs (if applicable) can be seen once a product is added to the shopping cart. For customers in Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, or anywhere else outside of the contiguous United States, we cannot guarantee fulfillment of orders. In the event an order cannot be fulfilled, we will issue a full refund. If an order can be fulfilled, we may require additional payment for shipping which will be collected after the purchase via invoice, regardless of the shipping total displayed at the time of checkout. Please contact us if you have questions on shipping eligibility or pricing on certain products.

Free shipping may be offered on certain items at the discretion of the seller. Please check the shipping costs directly on the offer or product.

In the event that more than one bicycle is purchased from the same seller, we will reach out after the purchase to collect any necessary additional shipping fees as only one shipping charge will be applied at checkout.

Note: it is up to the seller to advise their shipping and delivery details and or conditions for each of their products and services. These can be found on their shop page and individual product pages along with any other Terms & Conditions of the product.


The standard delivery time is between three and ten business days from the time the order is shipped. i.e. from when all payments have been received and cleared, and all items are in the hands of the carrier. You will receive a shipping confirmation email once tracking information is entered by the seller.

In the event that an ordered item is not available or it is not possible to fulfill your order, we will notify you within 2 (two) business days to arrange an alternative product, a backorder or a full refund immediately.

Bicycle Shipping

Complete bicycles are shipped in a bicycle box, and will arrive to you in varied states of assembly. We highly recommend having your bike assembled by a qualified bike mechanic to ensure correct assembly. If you assemble the bike yourself, we recommend you still have a bike mechanic review and check your build before you take it out to ensure everything is in the right place and secure. Assembly by a non-qualified mechanic could void any warranty that comes with your purchase.

BikeExchange and its sellers will not be responsible for damage or injury caused by improper assembly of products purchased through BikeExchange or if directions and instructions for proper use are not followed

In the event that the box arrives in a damaged state, please provide photographs of a) the unopened box, making sure any damage is clear and prominent, b) the unaltered bike still in the box, being sure to show the packing materials and the interior of the box, and c) any damage to the bike itself, once the packaging materials are removed. Please email these photographs to with your invoice number so that a shipping claim may be filed. Without this documentation, we cannot guarantee a refund.

New bicycles may not necessarily arrive in their original packaging. If a new bicycle has been previously built, it is unlikely the original packaging is still available. If a bike is listed as new, however, it is a brand new bike that comes with a full manufacturer's warranty.

In the event of a warranty or assembly issue, we require proof of assembly from a professional bike shop in the form of a receipt. Without this, we are unable to guarantee partial refunds or warranty support. For help finding a bike shop in your area, click here:

Collecting Goods - "Click & Collect"

Goods ordered with "Click & Collect" are usually made available to the buyer within 2-3 business days (unless otherwise specified). You will be notified via email by the bike retail store within 2 to 3 Business Days after having placed your order as to when the product is ready for collection. The buyer is required to provide proof of purchase when picking up their order (order confirmation, invoice) as well as proper identification (driver's license, passport, or other government issued ID) that matches the billing information on the purchase.
