Garmin Cycling Products

Founded in 1989, Garmin is a pioneer in bringing the navigational advantages of GPS to the everyday user. The American brand has a diverse range of activity-specific products available to the aviation, marine, automotive, outdoor, fitness and cycling markets.

Garmin Cycling Computers

Garmin has been a market leader and go to brand in the cycling computer game for a number of years now. The broad range caters to all users from professional and performance minded riders all the way through to weekend warriors and everyday enthusiasts. With GPS a standard feature across all models, the device capabilities, and features distinguish the various models with greater metrics and information available on those at the premium end.

Premium models, such as the Edge 1000 and Edge 820 are orientated towards ‘performance riders’ and keen enthusiasts. An emphasis on important training metrics including heart rate, power, speed, and cadence, are able to be tracked. These provide a wealth of information, turn by turn navigation and feedback in real time. These typically offer detailed mapping and navigation.

More affordable models, such as the Edge 25 will provide basic metrics including speed, distance and time. Although the analysis isn’t as detailed, these models still have computer upload capabilities.

Sports Watches and Fitness Trackers

Appealing to fitness enthusiasts across all activity levels and sports, Garmin offers an expansive range of watches and fitness trackers, designed to aid anyone from a beginner, right the way through to performance runners, cyclists and triathletes meet and exceed their personal health and fitness goals.

Models at the top of the range, such as the Fenix 5, will offer more advanced performance metrics, in-built sensors such as heart rate, are compatible with your Smartphone for social media and music control, and will provide more detailed analysis of activities tracked. More affordable, entry-level models prioritize pacing and more basic activity tracking and will typically feature heart rate compatibility.

Cameras and Lights

Adding to the expansive range of sport and recreation products, the brand offers a range of action cameras featuring high-quality recording capabilities and uncompromised durability. Compatible with a huge selection of Garmin devices and accessories, the VIRB cameras are able to capture, record and display a huge amount of data and information on playback.

The Varia range of bike lights feature radar and a host of other smart features and work both independently, and in conjunction with other Garmin devices. The range has a focus on enhancing awareness and safety of cyclists, better informing other riders and road users of their surrounds to ensure a safer and more enjoyable road riding experience.

Powermeters

The Garmin Vector is the brands pedal based powermeter system. The system is ANT+ compatible and relays a vast array of information including power, speed, and cadence to your cycling computer in real-time. With both single and dual-sided systems available, the Vector is a valuable addition to any cycling enthusiasts set up wanting to increase the quality of their training.
